I believe this depends on whether the being doing the vore exists within the box or is maybe even the box itself.

In the case of the former you can make an argument that it is not vore: the being grabbing them exists within the box and, should it successfully pull them in, could sit next to them within the box realm. However it is still possible for the being to vore them even if the box is not apart of its body whatsoever.

This becomes much simpler if the box is actually apart of the being with the hands. From what I can tell that would be a clear cut case of vore.
