Her former married name was Malene Reynolds Laugesen, with some of her art being attributed that way. Some years back she moved to Christchurch, NZ, and the terrible 2011 earthquake evidently impacted her rather profoundly, inspiring her to set out in new artistic directions. I understand that much of her popular work dates to that post-earthquake period.
