Least addictive drug. Impossible to do more than once a week and feel the effects. Big laughs, deep introspection. Anti addiction, proven to let the brain open up neural paths
Theres been studies on how they can help with addiction, iirc. But don’t take that as a reason to try, especially without access to the supervision I think these studies included. Lots of interesting and promising research still to do on them imo tho
There’s such a weird push for drugs in here. This is 3rd time i’ve had to defend my personal stance (idc if you take drugs). They are all incredibly dismissive about personal concerns. I grew up seeing the drugged up tourist down the sideway, to me drugs are that, I don’t want that for me.
To a certain extent, I think I understand. For people who have had only positive experiences with psychedelics, I’m sure it feels like the cheat code to life, and I can see why they’d want to share it. And I think some of them imagine themselves too smart or careful to get addicted, or maybe immune to addiction in the first place (and for a small number, that may even be true).
I’ve lost family to alcoholism and I struggle with binge eating as a coping mechanism, I’m damned wary of anything that could even potentially become a thing that I need to cope. I think some people will never understand that kind of thing until they see it firsthand.
If you take one shroom you grow. If you take two, you can shoot fireballs. And if you get injured you become short again. An Italian plumber told me that once.
That is perhaps for the best. These other people telling you they are totally fine have probably not seen what happens to someone who took them who never should have.
I value every trip I took, they made me a better person, but my mum literally had one of her friends jump out a window on acid in the 70s. I always thought that shit was an urban myth.
Human condition and individual reaction to psychedelic substance are a huge spectrum. Even if you and your friends and friends of their friends are ok, there are legitimate evidence of psychoactive substance causing harm. Lots and lots of it.
It’s irresponsible to give a blanket “ye’ll be grand”, or worse saying it’s not possible. If it’s itching to tell your story, tell it but just wrap it in your opinion and zip at that.
I grew up in a cheap tourism town where hearing that someone died thanks to substance abuse was nearly a daily occurrence. Paired with my already stated easily addicted personality. I’ve made the choice not to want any drugs on my life

I’ll be honest. I am pretty curious about trying pegging. Just no cutie has risen up to the challenge
Mirror and a suction cup dildo, be the cutie.
Nah, no interest. I’d have to be in a certain headspace and that doesn’t come up alone.
Do shrooms maybe? 🍄
Haven’t tried them out of self-preservation. I fall too easily onto addiction

you can’t get addicted to shrooms you will grow from taking shrooms
This is manifestly dangerous advice. You can get addicted to anything. Especially if it makes you feel good.

My mind is set. I’ll never ingest any psychedelics, seen what they do.

Here in my island we have rankings on which municipality has the most cases of people throwing themselves off balconies. https://www.balcon.ing/
Sorry could you elaborate?
Shrooms and most if not all psychedelics are non addictive, and you develop a tolerance fast enough that habitual use isn’t feasible.
I’m curious to hear about what you’ve seen.
