    I’ve been hearing that argument for a handful of decades and the Democrats still haven’t changed. When do we say enough is enough and I won’t keep kicking the football Lucy is holding for me?

        If you think that’s true you’re seriously not paying attention at all.

        Compare a 1990 dem to now and tell me theyre right of them.

        There’s plenty to criticize of the dems but let’s not be foolish.

      Just because the argument has been repeated many times that doesn’t make it any less true. I do think that Democrats who take advantage of the fact that we have a 2 party system is a problem, but I think we fix that by advocating for ranked choice voting. Otherwise, a third party winning in a major election is a pipe dream. If they truly wanted to build a presence, they should be trying to win more minor elections to build themselves up rather than going for a hail mary for a Senate seat or as the president. Luckily, there are only few Democrats right now that I’d consider to be just Republicans painted blue. In the niche cases where that’s true, then maybe consider voting third party
