Huh… I’m an inhabitant of the so-called Global South, particularly, Brazil.
And what I see isn’t quite what you’re arguing, much to the contrary.
I see Christians infiltrated within the judiciary system using justices’s authority to seize a statue of Lucifer (it’s been more than a year since a temple of Quimbanda had their statue seized after pressure of Christians; meanwhile, the fucking “Cristo Redentor” and its replicas exist without a trouble across the country).
I see Christian “justices” trying to argue it was the mãe-de-santo (woman practitioner of Candomblé/Umbanda), morally attacked by an intolerant christian Uber driver upon trying to request a ride from a terreiro to a medical appointment, the “intolerant one”.
And I lost count of how many times I have faced religious intolerance disguised as “dad jokes” from neighbors and “DSM-5-based diagnosis” from probably Christian psychiatrists since I became a practitioner of a Left-hand Path centered on Lilith.
So, no, it’s not Christians who are being attacked by non-Christians, at least not in Brazil, one of the largest countries in the Global South. It’s Christians who have been attacking non-Christians; even worse, using the entire apparata of the state to do so.
Oh, what an amazing and great disdain coming from you! If this is what you really think despite my exhaustive and detailed recounting, full with sources, on how christianity persecutes the “pagan”, despite my recounting of me being personally persecuted by my “pagan” faith (thus meaning you have absolutely no respect towards the one to whom you’re replying your deadpanned dismissal, so this means I reserve the right to owe you no respect as reciprocal as interactions can get), guess what? You aren’t entitled to complain about a supposed “persecution of christianity”, for christianity, would you believe it?, “is one religion!” (among thousands). So cry us a river, fashy bootlicker of Yaodabaoth!

I see Christian gang members prohibiting and even invading terreiros inside comunidades (“favelas”) and murdering those who aren’t Christians.
