Needless to say, temperature stabilization requires leaving this coal in the ground.

    There is plenty of coal all over the the US. There isn’t demand for it as its power is too expensive.

    Per the latest Lazard LCOE, solar + storage, wind (onshore) + storage, and gas combined cycle are all cheaper than coal.
