Yeah, The Beths fuck. Check out “Future Me Hates Me” and “Happy Unhappy”, too. I’ve listened to them through two breakups and a lot of their songs get the tears going.
I am deeply punk and had to deal with all the kids i turned onto cool music in jr high joining up with band geeks to make shitty folk punk and indie rock cause millennial. If it came out like this I would have booked shows for em and played with them. This is a fantastic version of a genre I have a really high bar to clear. I’m a pedal dork who does noise music and can say what they are doing with effects is fucking brilliant and not easy as well. I’m finding a lot of really sick bands in this thread.
I can tell, but theyre doing good with it instead of the proto everything millennial are made fun of musically that I had to deal with in its creation. I deeply regret showing punk music to band geeks

AFAIK they’re all music school jazz graduates so this is what happens when kiwi jazz nerds do indie rock, I guess.
