cause ww1 and ww2 taught us that peace is way more lucrative then getting sucked into a war
LMAO
Is that really the lesson you think America learned after WWII? Is that why they’ve been constantly starting illegal wars of aggression across the planet for 80 years?
I think americans education lacks desperately yeah but after a bad enough war they’ll maybe finally see why we need international rules. Why would anyone not sign it, do they want to be able to make rules that justify crimes against humanity or war crimes? Unless you’re doing shady stuff. And the lobbying of rich companies that want to keep resources poor, so maybe we should start with taxing big companies way more then and limiting the sum amount of assets someone can have, say 1M-10M. Cause the lobbying for human rights and average people seems nonexistent
do they want to be able to make rules that justify crimes against humanity or war crimes?
That is literally America’s MO, yes. They have laws which state if any international Justice system tries to hold an American accountable, they have to invade and go to war. The Hague invasion act.
