Vindman said he voted for H.R. 2616 because he is a dad.

“I care deeply about my kids, and that’s what I voted on,” he said

Exactly the problem with politics. You shouldn’t be voting on your situation. If a billionaire gets into office and votes to make their neighborhood have no police, no taxes, and the most parks, they’d be a terrible leader. You do what your constituents want. That’s the point of being a representative. To fucking represent your district.

The point of being a representative is to get the pacifying benefits of democracy without the aristocracy having to give up too much power or stray too far from a comfy oligarchic form.

It is inherently anti democratic. That was always the point.

one trans woman told the outlet that she’s frustrated that Vindman ran unopposed in the Democratic primary. She said the choice between the congressman and Ollivant feels like a choice between “callous dismissal and active hatred,” but that she felt she would “have to” vote for Vindman anyway.

    Ah, Democracy

Letting breeders have a hand in raising children is an atrocity against the rights and well being of children. They just breed because they want something to groom for their sick regressive shit.

Sorry. I just think breeding pairs are usually toxic and breed to groom a kid into something, often with the intent of throwing it out if it doesn’t fit their goals. They should not have a right to a person’s life just because they share some genes.
