Great, always a good time to discuss abolishing these outdated institutions.
There are lots of good times to discuss that. But I can assure you that most Norwegians, myself included, would be pretty pissed to hear «great» as the first comment on Harald‘s death. The man was pretty universally well liked, and has been a unifying figure in a period where that is something increasingly rare.
No gods, no kings 🤷 And 89 is a pretty normal age to die, so whatever.
As an avowed republican (not in the American sense), I can tell you:

Maybe? If they have end stage alzheimers for example? But a king is a slightly different matter, besides the “great” was clearly in the context of “great time to discuss abolishing the monachy”.
Because an elected president is so much better? Weird time on international politics to be claiming that.

I’ll take King Charles III of England or King Harald’s son in Norway over donald trump any day of the week!

If you choose king you also get the worst of the worst. At least with a president there is a degree of choice. A king you just get inbred. But sure
