    Anything a president can do unilaterally can be undone by the next president. There’s a reason why the Afordable Care Act hasn’t been undone at the stroke a sharpie

      That reason is that it benefits the insurance industry and only helps patients as a lamentable side effect.

        Not the argument I was making, more the downs in strategy. The republicans going full send without consideration of the consequences and the Democrat taking taking time and being thorough

          “Taking time and being thorough” looks a lot like “wasting time and doing nothing” when they’re doing anything other than selling weapons for genocide.

          The consequences of doing the thing your voters want and disregarding your enemies telling you you’re not being civil is that you get reelected.

          The consequences of listening to the people who are opposed to your voters is that your voters see that you are useless and check out of politics.
