    Unless you’re advocating for a revolution, you have to work within the system.

    I’d argue that even if you’re advocating a revolution, it absolutely helps to work within the system to control the damage and try to secure the most favorable conditions possible while you build the necessary organization to actually follow through on the revolution. It’s a lot harder to organize when everyone to the left of Fetterman is declared a terrorist and the gestapo arrests them for possessing leftist pamphlets.

    One could propose actively letting things get worse to inspire a revolutionary spirit in the masses, but that involves the suffering of already marginalized people.
