I’d wager the Arab League (Saudi Arabia, Qatar the jet bringer, etc.) has a lot more influence than Russia. Seriously, it’s pretty obvious, they are not hiding it. Russia is, if anything, a diversion at best.
It’s not that he won’t take money from Russia, it’s just that the League has so much more to “donate”. Russian oligarchs are comparatively small potatoes.
