I think it's time for an agitprop-style campaign where we demand, as the American left and the masses, that the Beckers resign from the Party for Socialism & Liberation. We couldn't democratically centralize our position against COVERING UP SA from the inside - so let's do it from the outside. Even after this wave of mass resignations, they will still control PSL's communications, even if there are only a few misguided loyalists left. They will lie about what happened in the Party built by the very cadre they ignored and exploited. And they are throwing away thousands of hours of capacity contributed by well-meaning members, all to salvage not the image of the Party but only their own. A couple rich white guys are ruining it for everyone yet again. Brian and Ben Becker: RESIGN from the PSL. An emergency congress needs to be assembled. The remaining cadre must either attempt to salvage the sinking ship or chart a new course. The Beckers don't deserve a platform in the already atomized American left - using horribly non-strategic, non-democratic and Patriarchal commandism to backstab everyone who built the Party. This is not just about the Party; it's about the movement in America. And the Beckers are an obstacle that need to be removed. The Beckers did the work for free for the feds, not the comrades who never wanted to leave in the first place. This contradiction was heightened by a handful of people who should have listened to the masses (and the cadre working to represent and fight for them) in the first place.
