Back in my retails day we had a Loss Prevention officer who was kinda crazy, would basically be frothing at the mouth at the idea of catching a “bad guy” in the store. It was embarrassing watching her stalk people around the store and there was a rumour she failed the psychological testing to become a police officer.
Jokes on her though because it turned out her work bestie had been stealing for YEARS before she was caught by someone else.

I understand that this is not that unusual. The army and navy too will happily boot out people that they think have an unhealthy relationship with unsupervised power. At least our army/navy, can’t speak for other nations’ ones. Doesn’t stop some nasty behaviour to women, but armies everywhere have always had severe difficulty coping with the ghastly prospect that women might be good soldiers.
