So competition was eliminated where it used to be a heavily divided poll. Florida and my county/district used to be close to 50/50 split on every elector and issue. The results would be nearly unpredictable. Anything that went over 60% in favor was rare. Since redistricting was pushed, competition was eliminated. Harmful legislation still has a hard time passing, but the state elected officials do what they want anyways.
