A national strike would probably be more palatable if there were trusted community organizations that could help the most vulnerable who can’t go without pay, even for short periods. It doesn’t just have to be cash they distribute, in-kind goods or services would be useful too.

There have been national strikes in the world, like India, but the USA’s standard of living is much too high for that. Nobody else has managed a national strike under similar conditions, it’s unheard of. It’s never been done.
Besides, your country is probably still using US dollars and accepting US aid, you can’t even stop enabling the international beast yourselves. But you have to work and feed your family, we get it.

Re doing something small like boycotting Meta/Google: it will do nothing.

I heard/read quite a few of those type of excuses (and they are excuses, not reasons) when Renee Good and Alex Pretti were murdered and I was asking why no fucker was doing anything about it.
I have since lost hope, so much so that I have now pretty much stopped complaining about the us population being lazy, or complicit/evil, or complacent.
