    One really easy but silly way would be with gimp by turning it into a gif animation. It really depends on what these pages contain though and how much resolution you need. To get the gif below all i did was open the pdf in gimp, select my resolution during import (800px wide in this case) and immediately export the project as a gif. During export just click yes to everything, select the number of milliseconds per frame (100 in my example) and done. This 103 page datasheet pdf is now a 8MB gif animation :D The import and export can take some time depending on the resolution. For me it was like 15 seconds, if you raise the resolution (to like >1500px wide) it might take a whole minute or so though and require a system with >8GB of RAM.

    Export the PDF as individual images for each page. Bring all the files into a video editing program. Adjust the length of each page as individual clips as needed. Export the video.

      Tools:
      MasterPDFEditor. It’s on Arch’s repositories. Open PDF with it. Open file > export > as images. Choose all pages. Done.

      Kdenlive. In the project bin, select Add Image Sequence. Configure said sequence, pointing it to the folder of said exported images, and how long each image is displayed. Add sequence to the timeline. Render video. Done.

    Get an app to do a screen recording. Set it to record, set your PDF reader to full-screen, and page though the document.

    There are other ways to do this, but most require saving the individual pages as separate files. This method should be much faster.

    Ffmpeg and imagemagick.

    magick -density 150 source.pdf page-%03d.png && ffmpeg -framerate 1/5 -i page-%03d.png -vf "scale=1920:1080:force_original_aspect_ratio=decrease,pad=1920:1080:(ow-iw)/2:(oh-ih)/2" -c:v libx264 -r 30 -pix_fmt yuv420p slideshow.mp4

    For example, I did not run this.
