(This post was inspired by The Sims 3 fucking up my X11 server so bad with WINE’s implementation of this idea I had to zap it to get it to act normal again)

Windows 11 lets monitors download malware with root access via the windows update mechanism… so it’s not something I would be surprised about them doing

thats usually because there’s no one cohesive way to manage the various linux distros without a massive headache… landscape is one main tool but it falls woefully short of the goal
Oh I understand that, except they ignore a fleet of Linux servers in that/don’t care about if those aren’t working with their av platform of choice for protection

I have a memory of some older games setting resolutions that my monitor didnt support. Many journeys into some config ini so i could see the game at all. I assumed it was because my TV at the time was some goofy ah 1360x768 screen that lied about being 1080i
Also sims 3 is basically malware that shit is written so badly idk how tf they even made it.
