It did not harm Doug Ford to release a platform after voting started.
Conservatives (big C) are the lowest information voters out there, despite their claims of evidence based policy or whatever. Look no further than Harper dropping the long form census and muzzling scientists when they didn’t like evidence.
Hell, even Ford’s internal analyses almost all disagree with policy, then they bury them to keep the charade going.
They look well ahead in the polls. Looks like a con majority at the moment.
Cons are showered in money, of course they almost always get everything they want. Mild tax increase gets their supporters in a frenzy despite the province having the lowest tax rate in Canada, looks like BC will go from centrist to fascist because of ignorance and perfectionism.
Time to go back to insurance premiums, sky-high ICBC and BC Ferries rates.

Reduced healthcare, school stuff, and probably something shitty to non-white people.
This is their way.
The party says its platform amounts to restraint, not austerity.
Restraining the 1% does not look like that.
