Only implicitly, total ripoff.
A lot of what happened in the movie didn’t happen in the novel.
And the whole Mercerism thing isn’t even in the movie despite being a huge part of the novel.
But we got tears in rain instead.
For sure. I’m not complaining. I like both the book and the film even though they’re quite different. Or maybe because of it.
