God, I wish the American electorate had enough of a sense of humor for that to be a viable response.

Have you seen Pissboy’s rants? This is a perfectly viable response XD

Every backwards moron in the country, and a fair amount of forward facing morons, would lose their collective shit and it would be a decade before i didn’t have to fuckin listen to it.

I don’t understand the appeal of fake political tweets, especially those that serve to make out-of-touch politicians appear cooler or more in touch than they are in reality

    Edit:

And for clarity I say this as somebody who is voting for Biden and thinks he has on the level done a vastly better-than-average job as President. Still don’t wanna see “relatable Joe memes”

I don’t think it’s a sincere effort to make Biden appear in touch. It’s just a satisfying imaginary timeline.

To me at least, it’s funny for the same reason Futurama Nixon in a giant robot body smashing holes in the white house and shooting missiles at his enemies is wonderful; it doesn’t mean I like Nixon, but it does make me want to live in that timeline instead of this one, where all the conflict is underhanded and behind the scenes.

I think it’s the same appeal as The Onion. It’s satire. The best part of The Onion is reading the headline before the URL. I don’t take stuff like this as a sincere attempt to make the alleged author look good. It’s too far-fetched for that.

The common thread of all comedy is the unexpected. In this case, it’s the “haha if only this were real, that would be great” element that makes it funny

I too struggle with understanding the point in humor sometimes. I sometimes wonder if I’m a bit artistic

You could probably refine this down to something you could actually get Biden to say on air lol.

“We all know why Trump wants me to get drug tested so badly, we just haven’t found the tape of it yet!”

I miss the Onion’s Diamond Joe Biden. This sounds like something he’d have said.

Diamond Joe needs to get back to stealing copper from construction sites. It’s been a decade since his major-ass haul!

Maybe we haven’t heard from him in awhile because the feds got him. Barry O, being out of the oval office, couldn’t work that sweet black magic to get uncle Joe out of trouble anymore.

Someone tell Brandon that the golden shower tape does not exist. It got confirmed through their own investigation where its stated that it was earsay and not an actual footage.
