I wish it could be that easy, social democracy is easy to explain and works in a way that isn’t very complex, it’s easy to understand and put in practice which is more than you can say for Marxism (much love to Marx and Engels and Lenin, but it does ANYTHING but appeal to the lowest common denominator), but the unfortunate reality is that these people (good people who strive for equality, no matter how you feel about Soc-Dems) will be voted out eventually and Fascists will be put in their place to make up for the lack of record-breaking quarterly earnings for private companies. I was VERY skeptical of watching this video when it was suggested to me, is it worth watching bc I absolutely will if it’s even slightly more based than expected. So, my thoughts on him are that he may not be a GOOD person, but he is absolutely without a doubt, a very smart person who is very knowledgeable on US foreign policy and the contradictions that come about from it. I used to watch Democracy Now a lot a few years ago (I still like them, my schedule sorta changed so I can’t watch it as regularly) and he would frequently give great interviews, talking about the Nord Stream attack that was orchestrated by the US, talking about the Euromaidan and the Alley of Angels. Sachs is many things, but he certainly isn’t dumb and he isn’t easily influenced/manipulated. Any recent interview or talks with Sachs are a goldmine for anyone skeptical of US foreign policy goals.
