Discovery should have been set in the future of the series. Then not only would the RIDICULOUSLY HUGE AMOUNT OF EMPTY SPACE in the ship would make more sense, the advanced tech would make more sense, and most importantly, they wouldn’t need to retcon ANYTHING.

They just wanted to be able to use certain characters and wanted to be set before almost anything else. So they did the dumb thing and placed the advanced future ship in the past.

The shows are all best friends (especially the conflicting ones) it’s only some of the fans that suck with their “mine is better than yours” nah muthafuckas, all our shows are fantastic. Even if some made some questionable theme decisions , at least they all had faith of the heart.

I was super excited to try it out, and after spending about a week binging it, I came to the conclusion I didn’t have fun playing it.

It did have a bit of a learning curve but once it clicks, you’re breezing along. It just didn’t fill my city building void.
