I go with the buddhist thing. suffering is when we don’t get what we desire. It a bit tricky because things that are common or normal we don’t think about desiring until we don’t have them. People want to be safe and healthy and free and we can’t have this is various ways and when we can’t even have the slightest bit its way worse.

well blocking off one thing is kinda silly. you have to take into account your own possible moods. Most people I know you talk about it do like me. check over the history, see if they are always like this or have other indicators. piefed allows making notes on users now so I can just mark them which makes it easier to be more time before blocking. Its honestly way worse than real life. that guy who talks to himself at the 711 is no longer there. hes online all day pretty much.

online should be like real life. if you think someone is an asshole you don’t hang around them. Back when the internet was smaller the whole broader perspective thing made sense but now its increasingly crap with small amounts of decent things. To have any chance of seeing the decent things you have to block the crap before it lands.
