  • Phone on the left, wallet and keys in the right, credit and debit and ID cards in the little pocket on the right separate from the wallet.

When I’m counting cards I can sometimes have up to $10k in cash on me, which I keep rolled up in $2000 bundles and stashed in internal zip-up pockets on my motorcycle hoodie (which I will NOT take off when I’ve got that kind of dough on me lmao). The front pockets are for ratholing casino chips (it makes it harder for them to keep track of how much you’re winning).

This has never happened but I imagine if I was mugged giving my nearly-empty wallet (I only keep cash I plan to spend, like $20 or so, in there) as a decoy to protect the cash and cards located elsewhere on my person.

  • god this framing is as old as the healthcare debate itself and its always been deceptive. What Americans who are insured like is the fact that they’re insured because we all know how much it sucks to be uninsured, and of course the more time you spend dealing with your insurance the more likely you are to have to fight them over every single little thing and the more likely you are to realize that even being insured sucks shit in this country.
