Another reason I would never buy a Meta product
I miss what Twitter used to be
Daily comment to say fuck Russia
Did he delete the mastodon account? Or is he not using it anymore?
I thought he already moved to Mastodon?
lol i think reddit is fucked
Idk what you’re talking about. Mastodon is just an ugly-looking Twitter, and Twitter used the term threads long before Mastodon did. They’re all just copying Twitter
Whew. I used Evernote heavily for about two years back at the beginning of the app craze, but I quickly switched over to just the Apple Notes app as Apple made it more usable. Thank god I didn’t stick with that app
No. They’re using the fediverse, which includes instances of mastodon, but they are making their own client/web portal/whatever you wanna call it. They’re making their own version of the thing that mastodon is, and their versions will be on the same network that mastodon is on.
Lol fuck that, I’ll stick with mastodon
Im black now
I really want this tablet to be successful, I’m an Apple user personally and I feel like Apple has just gotten lazy with the iPad because there’s no serious competition. Would love to see Google become a serious tablet contender.
Will be really interesting to see how this works out for them. They’ll definitely lose a lot of users but I wonder if they’ll end up getting enough of them to download the official app that they decide it was worth it.
I can’t see what they did, my browser says it can’t establish connection to the server. Sounds like reddit admins took whatever it was down?
i will build a cheaper pill that makes you even more autistic
No, there’s no way to do that. I’m not precious about my accounts tho, I went through like a dozen in the ten years I was on Reddit.
The only problem with federation is duplicate communities, and I don’t even see that as being necessarily a bad thing. I’ll subscribe to multiple communities for the same thing and if, over time, I end up getting annoyed with some of them I’ll just unsubscribe.
I started off on lemmy.ml before the deluge and then today it’s basically inaccessible so I started up a new account over at lemmy.world. I browse by All anyway so I haven’t really noticed a difference.
He can’t stop digging
