  • Gonna emphasize this as well.

Whatever you are trying to do, kali is not built for tasks that need a dedicated GPU. If you’re using AI, Ubuntu might be the best option, if it’s gaming then bazzite or cachy can be a solid choice - even steamos. But there are a multitude of reasons not to expose your GPU to Kali use cases.

I understand there is probably things you can not tell us about OP, but just be warned that you are introducing unnecessary points of failure to your opsec (ideally kali should be run in a VM, which I don’t think it is here) and vice-versa you are exposing your GPU to some unmitigated risk depending on your setup, making your GPU a potential casualty in the worst case. At that point the compatibility issues and extensive setup of your GPU in Kali might as well become side-issue.

I really hope you are absolutely sure about this.

  • Against voting:

    • feels like it doesn’t matter
    • the choices often suck

    For voting:

    • it evidently does matter
    • it’s the most efficient way to give your political opinion some weight

Also I assume the down votes are for the following reasons:

    • not voting only serves unpopular politicians and parties
    • not voting being promoted through a post like this one would exacerbate this issue
    • the science is pretty settled that voting matters, even if it feels like it doesn’t, so making this topic debatable seems disingenuous

I assume you are being honest, so let me make this clear once again: a voting populus is what stands between a democracy and a dictatorship. Not only do dictators dismantle voting rights wherever they can, but it’s also the best tool to keep them away.

  • To me it’s the fighting. I know the intolerance paradox well, but the extreme polarization keeps sizzling up in meaningless ideological fights. If politics was boring again and we’d look at what laws do and whether we want them, we’d all be more productive.

I do not care for things that suck, I only care when can also change them. And thus I have learned to withdraw from the things I can’t change. I would do a lot if my life had an impact on Gaza, Ukraine or anything else, but until I get there, I need to remember that I also need to keep myself happy and engaged. I learn things and make things, and when I can vote I’ll vote again, and when there’s a big protest I’ll join. This way I escape depression and retain my will to live.

  • My first thought is contact police because only they have the resources to start an investigation, looking into phone data and thoroughly searching.

My second thought is if you know someone with knowledge or if you have time to read up on OSINT skills, these could help if you need to do your own search.

Maybe someone has better ideas though.
