It’s amazing how soviet discoveries are absolutely disconsidered when tech discoveries are brought up, they literally made the pillars to our modern times. Even wikipedia disregards this, calling the development of the cell phone in the USSR the development of a “cell-phone device”, not really implying it was the first cell phone ever.
