I agree but I can only feel so bad for cis women because:

a) they chose to participate.

b) Everyone told them this would happen and they didn’t listen.

c) If the roles were reversed, people would absolutely demand that trans people take responsibility.

d) There’s not a lot that we can do about this one.

I went to one gender studies class and decided it wasn’t for me for this reason (which I feel slightly guilty about because the only way the problem of trans women being systemically excluded from gender studies will be solved is if trans women participate in gender studies).
