evolution doesnt contradict the Bible The Bible says Earth and humans were created in 7 days but those are 7 days for God, and we dont know how long a day is for God, and it was written before the 24 hour system

There’s people out there that think everything written in the King James version of the bible are literally true and allegories do not exist. A day is 24 hours to them. A year is 365 days. Nothing is ever lost in translation or merely a human trying to put words to something they don’t fully understand.

They refuse to comprehend that it could be any other way.

Was the bible written for god to read, or for humans to read? If it was written for humans, it could have benefited from using human units instead of undefined god units.

How do we know which parts are allegory and which parts are true? Whatever suits you at the time?

Imagine if we had a bunch of people who spent their entire life pondering and reading the Bible to give us official interpretations

How do you know the canonical catholic interpretation is correct? Because some guy said so? Even if some guy was “officially” entrusted with that task, how do we know he didn’t make mistakes?

How do we verify any of it?

How do you know islam is false? Some guy said it’s true. That’s not enough for you anymore?

What about mormonism? That guy had magic rocks. Is that any more or less ridiculous than a talking bush?

multiple people over the courses of their entire lives studied the Bible, became priests or brothers or sisters and spent years researching interpretations.

And all of their interpretations are different. How do you know which is true, if any?

                  Islam breaks the natural law

First you need to prove that natural law exists.

Mormonism deviates from the true church

Catholicism deviated from the true church, original christianity. Original christianity deviated from the true church, judaism. Judaism deviated from truth itself by pretending magic is real and god exists.

You don’t know what “true” means. It is not whatever you want it to be.
