Naturalist remedies are popular in China. So I figure fungus(LSD and shrooms) and weed could be among the first psychedelics that will be legally distributed. I have no idea how far in the future.
Thc oil was “ legal” at some point mid 2000. Now it’s ban iirc.
There is also a AIDS epidemic in Yunnan as a consequences of poverty and drug laws
What drug laws?
Somebody can look it up but some Chinese scientists are doing research to create medication derived from psychedelics without the tripping part
I like this way better than just advocating for psychedelics themselves because bad trips are fucking terrifying and can easily set somebody back way worse than they were before
I got sober recently because of a bad trip
I’m sorry, that sucks the bad trip turned you away from drugs. Nobody should have to go through life completely sober
Idk I just realised I didn’t want to be high all the time anymore. I also thought it would make me less miserable, it didn’t. I don’t feel the need to socialise anymore though which is interesting and I don’t feel lonely anymore.

I know this feel too well.
The primary (and, really, only) reason why I wouldn’t want to live in China is that I wouldn’t be able to smoke weed.
Like most places on earth you probably can smoke weed just not legally.

Weed is fun, shrooms are mostly harmless, fun.
Recreation for recreation’s sake. There’ no real justification for banning many recreational drugs but allowing alcohol. Alcohol is overwhelmingly more destructive than most recreation drugs.
The only good thing Justin Trudeau ever did on his own was force full legalization down the throats of other legislators. I’m rather annoyed that I have him to thank for the existence of regulated stores carrying products that went through quality control.

I dont thknk they would, but tjere’s no good reason most drugs to be illegal, especialy if alcohol is you standard for social amd individual harm
Idk shrooms and weed can induce psychotic episodes, so I wouldn’t say they’re mostly harmless all drugs come with risks and downsides. Is banning and criminalising them the right idea? No, but pretending they’re harmless isn’t the way to go either.
If there was a stoned Xi emoji I could show you
Additional treatments for PTSD, epilepsy, depression, anxiety, alcoholism.
curious how the legal penalties for posession of these illegal substances compares to the USA.
I’m about to walk into a store and buy some weed so pretty different
I meant for drugs which are illegal in both countries, obviously.
I can do this in Texas

In China, are doctors allowed to prescribe any drug if they think that’s what the patient needs?
I don’t think they ever will dude.
