Ah, I see. You’re using “not being able to sing” to mean you don’t think she sings well. I remember someone saying Ariana Grande had terrible vocals, even though she’s ranked among the top vocalists, and though you were doing that too.

I don’t like Swift’s music, so I’m not even defending her. It’s just weird when people pull stuff out of their butt around here.

I wasn’t aware there was another way to interpret that.

        Uh, literally? lol…

I’m certain those rankings, like awards, can be bought.

Oh yeah, definitely someone like her paid to be highly praised by her fans and critics alike. That makes sense.

Yeah, you have a very interesting communication style as well, choosing one thing or another at your convenience. And gritty, too, even when someone is willing to meet you in the middle. I don’t see why I bothered.

                I haven’t altered my choices

Oh yeah, you have. I noticed your slight change in choice of words.

You definitely did choose to ignore a clear factor I gave

You literally bent what you meant halfway down the thread to fit your narrative and pretended there was no other possible interpretation. Idk where you get that you’ve been quite clear.

I thought it was quite straightforward. “She cannot sing” isn’t the same as “she cannot sing well”. If I say “she can’t cook”, you’d imagine that her cooking is terrible because she lacks basic skills, but if I say “she can’t cook well”, you’d probably find her cooking tolerable because it’s understood that she can do it. It’s an interesting bit of backtracking.
