I have eaten
the plums
that were in
the icebox
.
and which
you were probably
saving
for breakfast
.
Forgive me
they were delicious
so sweet
and so cold
I don’t care. If you write what you call “poetry” and it’s just prose, I’m gonna cringe on your behalf.
Ironically cringe
I already know your cringe detector doesn’t work, so that means nothing to me.
The willfully ignorant do often take pride in their actions, like any other type of reactionary.
An excellent example of prose, as opposed to poetry.
