Hillary Clinton fought like hell to get nominated against Trump and then shat the bed in the general election. She is as responsible as anyone for the orange pall cast over our country the last 8 years.
She made some mistakes that absolutely cost her tye election, and cemented the paradoxical blue collar support for a party that wants to make things worse for them in particular. It was a catastrophic misstep by an intelligent and experienced politician, and to this day, I don’t understand it. Hubris was always a problem for her, all the way back to the primaries, so maybe it was hubris that was responsible.
Yes, the Right already hated her, and she always had an uphill fight because of her sex. But it was still her fight to lose, and she threw it.
Still, she is a smart person, and capable of learning from her mistakes, and has had a few more years under her political belt, so discounting her just because of one disasterous loss might be its own kind of mistake.
She didn’t learn anything. She thinks she was wronged and has only doubled down since 2016.
She blamed anything and everyone for her loss but herself. Still does.

Why does she think she even has legitimate advice to give? Despite being this big figure in the Democratic party she’s literally never won a single election except for when she was very briefly a senator I guess. And that was clearly because of her husband being the president. I feel like her entire post presidency experience has just been writing on her husband’s coattails in exchange for overlooking her husband’s affairs.
