Those blue collar jobs would have their professional credentials destroyed, and be forced to compete with every general contractor… a race to the bottom. Sophisticated technology would stop operating after awhile, and with the loss of the supply chain and licenses/regulated manufacturing facilities nothing in the U.S.A. of substance would be built. Only those in the army would be paid. Essentially you’d get N. Korea, fascist Spain, Venezuela or an Iran, like country. Mass migration out.
