    Violence is not the answer because we learned from the history books, looking for answers in the history books is akin to repeating history, which is generally seen as the incorrect answer.

      Looking at history is always wise because you can look for things that worked and other things that didn’t work, and try to figure out why, and replicate the things that worked and avoid the things that didn’t work.

      Otherwise, you risk repeating mistakes already learned at the price of blood.

      At worst, you can ignore the unhelpful things you’ve learned (that are not worth avoiding).
