What do you recommend people use for email?
I find it pretty difficult to recommend anything to people. I also look for alternatives to my current setup that is 60€ a year and has my emails end up in the recipients spam folder far too often, but everything else has pretty silly restrictions like only a very limited number of email aliases which cost the provider nothing to offer.
I’m switching to proton mail

The last thing I witnessed is them leaving Mastodon in shame after promoting the republican party.
Before that a couple of incidents where they gave law enforcement information on activists.
Idk if it’s actually a crypto ag situation.
I guess none of this actually makes them a worse choice than Google.
