since stackoverflow is dead and reddit is also on the way to its grave, I was wondering if we can have enough knowledge base here so that Lemmy comes on the first page of a search query. I know it’s very hard to archive and I haven’t even seen a single result from lemmy unless I specifically add ‘lemmy’ keyword to it.

side tangent: Reddit results are also not shown unless we add ‘reddit’ keyword but sometimes even if you don’t add ‘reddit’ you can see it on the first result.

      That’s true. Search is slowly but steadily being replaced by AI, which makes SEO much less of a threat.

      Edit: But on the other hand, it makes data set manipulation much more valuable. Instead of just trying to pump up the stats of ONE post, you have bot armies making hundreds of posts and comments to try to influence the training data. That’s actually worse.
