A wicker elephant
I have a plushie Yoshi amiibo from Yoshi’s Woolly World, and I’ve stuck every whisker I’ve found from my cats into its head, so now it looks like one of those troll dolls.
I have this same plushie and am horrified by this image
Aside from adult items, it would be my collection of 400 keys all on a bunch of different connected key rings or maybe my rum bottle full of used needles.
In my desk drawer is a small, plastic black box. Emerging from its surface is a toggle switch, some lights and wires that end in alligator clips. There is no writing at all, inside or out, It starts blinking lights and making an ominous buzzing sound if you let the wires touch each other while it’s turned on. I built it myself, and you’ve got no hope of figuring out what it’s for if you don’t know already.
spoiler
It’s a test light for setting the external ignition timing on airplane engines, to make sure both spark plugs in each cylinder fire at the same time. I doubt even most aircraft mechanics would recognize it because it doesn’t look like a “real” one.
I have a collection of Quack medical devices from the early 1900s. Some of them are used now as electrostatic sex toys.
Probably curious about why I, an atheist, have the Book of Mormon, the Catholic Apocrypha, the Books of Enoch, the Quran, and the standard Bible along with my collection of books on energy healing and astrology.
Those books all together in one place would tell me you’re probably an atheist without even knowing you
My reaction would be “I guess they were well-informed about their choices.”
Even the oldest stories carry something… After reading enough of them though they are totally retelling of the same stuff (at least most of the ones I’ve perused have been).
Well-read atheists have more credibility
If an atheist didnt have these I’d consider them a contrarian rather than an atheist. Maybe agnostic but not an atheist, atheists have made an informed decision which you can’t do without being informed.
I don’t have to read fairy tales to refute that they were real events that actually happened. I would tend to agree with your overall sentiment, but if someone was raised non-religious, had to take history classes, and had a light exposure to different mythological frameworks, I would not say that they are uninformed if they claim to be atheist. I dont have to do a deep dive on Christmas lore to come to the conclusion that Santa is not real.
Very true.
nothing, because I doubt anyone that would clean out my belongings would give enough of a fuck to think about anything before stuffing it into a bag and throwing it in a dumpster.
Remember that one really dark hentai that became a meme, “Emergence” or “Metamorphosis?”
I got the bright idea to get a paperback copy of it and now it’s just waiting for some catastrophe to unearth it from its hiding place, like a time capsule of bad decisions
A Time Capsule of Bad Decisions.
I like that.
I’m the guy in the office people come to when they need something. Ibuprofen? Got it. Superglue? Got it. Change for the vending machine? Yup. I keep the change in an envelope I’ve labeled “petty cash”. Inside that envelope , I have a smaller envelope that I’ve labeled “mad money”. I have about $27 worth of Monopoly money in that one.
Reading this thread, although I am kinda demirose I feel like the best reason to want a partner is to have someone do away with your “dirty” collection. Unless whoever would go through it (typically family) just happen to already know all your secret kinks and not be weirded out by them.
My parents will probably be dead by then, but I’m the oldest of a bunch of siblings. I don’t keep a huge collection or anything (almost everything I’ve ever bought is disposable), but I always cringe every time I buy any new supplies wondering “What if I die before this is used up? What are they gonna think?”.
I’m not particularly ashamed of my set of kinks, but one of them can read as questionable based on common conception, and while I assume most of them are at least a little kink aware, not one of them seems to be very freaky themselves (which, if they are, they don’t let on, and I haven’t figured it out (well played… 🥷)), so I worry some about what they’ll think when they find it, or what the niblings would think if they ever heard about it.
But even in the worse case scenario I’ll be too dead to care.
I’m laughing at the possibility that all your siblings are actually kinky as hell but each of you keeps it carefully to yourselves so you all believe you’re the only one who isn’t super vanilla.
i cleaned out my uncle’s apartment room because of similar thoughts. he passed from heroin. did not want grandma to see that stuff. so i cleaned it up. along with his copy of “girls who eat girls”. such an odd name for a porno.
I cannot stand the industry’s tendency to call them “girls”. “Women who eat women” isn’t really that weird, unless you’ve never consumed any porn before.
unless you’ve never consumed
I don’t think that’s a problem for the women in the porn.
I have a ton of unique 3d printed firearms. They are legal for me to make and own where I live, but I can’t legally sell them or give them away so they have just accumulated over the years haha
Kink gear, including cute adult diapers and onesies.
I’m not gonna embarrass myself with the first set of things, so probably a few things on my devices. I have some NSFW and SFW kinda spicy stuff on my laptop, 2 desktops, and phone. Things I would personally be kinda embarrassed about sharing with people that aren’t furries… it’s yiff and SFW furry writing of mine. A lot of incomplete writing, mind you.
Hmmm. Probably a (real) human spine (not my own).
…was it ethically sourced, at least?
Hmmm. I actually don’t know. I hope so. It was from a chiropractor relative that passed. (Not his spine, but he had a human one for display purposes).
That’s like…99% probably stolen from some Indian graveyard then…lots of bones used by anatomists back in the day (1800-1950)came from graveyards in india.
Hmmm I’d have to check the dates, but most likely around the 50s or a bit after.
Wouldn’t check too hard if I were you, lol. Might get the attention of some folks…
Keepsake from a Mortal Kombat style fatality execution no doubt.
That sounds ethically sourced to me! Ain’t nothing more ethical than a brutal takedown, fatality style.
Ed Sheeran’s?
Hahaha. I wish.
He’d have to have one to begin with.
Good point haha.
I have four big black bins in my closet, full of… adult stuff I think those would definitely qualify. Maybe the foxtails, or my hot pink bunny mask, I’ve got a bunch of weird costumes that would raise eyebrows
I don’t think anyone in my family is ready to confront the reality of a knotted dragon dick, but my friends have all seen Chance before!
I have a family member who has walked in on tail things, but even that family member would not be prepared for the sheer quantity of tails…
Nah those are perfectly explainable. U jus freaky like dat
