This reminds me of the story about Triboulet, a jester for the king of France.
One day, Tribulet slaps the French king’s ass. This makes the king so mad he threatens to have Triboulet executed if he doesn’t come up with an apology that was even more insulting than than this prank.
Tribulet responded by saying: “I’m sorry your majesty, I thought you were the Queen!”
This provoked the king even further, so he condemned him to death. However since he had served faithfully for many years, the king offered him the choice of how he would die.
So Triboulet said: “Good sire, I choose to die from old age.”
This finally made the king laugh, which led to him allowing Triboulet be banished from France instead of executed.
Legendary
Speaking of Legendary, if you’ve ever played Balatro you can come across Triboulet as one of the five legendary Jokers in the game. All five are based on famous jesters and entertainers from history or media with their effects always being a reference to their story.
In Triboulets case he gives 2x mult to any played king or queen.
King guy is so resentful he instructed the executioner to use the smallest, shittiest axe ever for a decapitation.
You know, make sure it takes a few very messy hits. Maybe he required an extra blunt edge too.

That shit does absolutely fucking nothing. I don’t know how many time’s I’ve clicked either of those and had it continue to suggest the same channel or even the same video.

The biggest joke is the show less shorts button, i clicked that every month since it excist and like a clock they come back every month and when i search for a specific video it’s difficult to find because every search is cluttered with shorts
Change your search to a video search. You’ll actually get things related to what you’re looking for.
Ublock origin has a script for that. I’d forgotten they did that shit.

I keep seeing videos of some british guy going around asking international students / workers, “what’s a word that you find hard to pronounce”, and initially it’s played off as cute, but after the fifth person, it’s clear that he’s doing it to mock them as he’s pretty strong in how he corrects them…
there is a narrative to normalize this kind of “us first” behaviour…

You curate your YouTube algorithm by revising your watch history. Delete the initial roast videos you watched and it shouldn’t recommend then anymore

The only roaster I’ve watched purely for his roasts is Greg Giraldo - a now dead, ex lawyer, drug addict who only got into comedy because he thought he could do better than what he was going out to watch.
