Or they lose by a thin margin in a few midwestern states, proving that they’ve been stabbed in the back by Muslim voters and shouldn’t bother catering to these unreachable die-hard Islamist constituents anyway.

The current polling has Harris ahead by 1.5% in Michigan, which is about 2.5% Muslim residents by some counts. I could imagine that they will still heavily vote for her, but they’ll get blamed for any loss regardless. Just imagine what liberals will think of them if a narrow Michigan victory gives Trump the election. We’ll be hearing about it for the next fourty years.

The real joke is that Michigan is a safer Senate seat for Dems, despite being a coinflip for President. We can only guess at why.
On the flip side, if Dems beat expectations and go +3 or +5, it would be hilarious to see Ted Cruz and Rick Scott lose their Senate seats.
