      What? I think the joke is hit net worth is negative. Like, if his net worth is -125, .08 of that is negative one. So if he “gives” that portion of his wealth away, he’s giving them negative one dollars. ie: taking a dollar from them.

      I think he’s confusing percentages and multiplication.

      • 98,500,000/112,000,000,000 = 0.00088 = 0.09 %

      Addition doesn’t magically become subtraction with a number between 1 and 0.

      If his net worth is negative, i.e. about $ -1140, then 0.09 % of this would equal one dollar.
