The best ideograms still look like their source:
- 山 is mountain
- 1 is one
- 月 is moon
- 中 is center
- 三 is three
M.O.O.N., that’s how you spell moon.
that’ll happen if you think about the moon too much
low effort shitposting. I don’t have to come up with a witty title if I can just say “rule”
The moon works in mysterious ways
luna is a better word for it, also a better name for humans and pets. aside from tides, still unclear on moon stuff.

suki vs tsuki. I can’t pronounce it but I think the japanese can. tsunami is basically tsuki+nami = moon + wave
Edit: I was wrong. Just wanted to use an example word people know with tsu sound.
Tsunami つなみ 津波 is composed of
- tsu つ 津, wharf, a place to park boats
- nami なみ 波, tide, wave
So it’s high waves from a wharf. It’s not a tide since having a tsunami every month would be devastating…
Thank you. I should have just said tsu is in the tsunami similarly but in English we learn t is silent because we can’t pronounce it.
