Pull the lever as the trolley passes the interchange
I pull the lever to initiate the fabled multi-track drift.
When done at the right time, pulling the lever can still derail the trolley
Yes. It gives me a sense of control.
This is my favorite version. I flip the switch so I know what if feels like, the tactile sensation. Then I go do my own thing and just chill.
Easy: I follow the main directive and don’t interfere
Does pulling the lever teach people the difference between “affect” and “effect”? I’m willing to pull it on the off chance that it does.
I have the choice whether to offer a correction of “affect” to “effect”.
The chaotic evil pulls the lever when the trolly is at the track interchange just to prove this premise wrong.
I board the trolley
Yeah, because why not?
If it’s there you pull it, not only because it’s fun, but I bet it makes a really satisfying clunk. And if it does I’d keep pulling it, again and again.
Just like clacking the tongs
Hand anyone (who knows how to use tools) a cordless drill
Tell them “do the thing”
Without fail, you will hear a quick “bzz-bzz” as they double-tap the trigger.
It’s part of the unwritten rulebook of being human.
Pulling the lever almost every day, if you know what I mean
I’d lie on the tracks just to spite you
But which track?
I love Reverse Trolley scenarios.
at the bottom right, obv.
Don’t try to trick me!
I pull the lever to make the universe bend to my will, even for a moment
