That’s literally how Christianity works. I don’t know of any denomination that follows the entire Bible exactly. It’s not even possible because the text is self-contradictory in places.

contradiction kinda the point, there’s four gospels even just in the mainline canon
if one can’t cope with contradictions there is little point in even attempting to approach scripture

Red letters bibles were meme’ing hard in the US before the 1970’s but the 70’s is where memetics pops up as a theory afair.
