im pretty sure this is just how the fair folk get you these days. mushroom circles are soooo last millennium
They’re usually for beer but some countries don’t allow connivence stores to sell beer. I guess they have a blueprint for these stores and when they can’t have a beer cave they just call it a soda cave.

This looks like Sheetz. That’s where the Soda Cave (and Beer Cave) comes from at least, so likely North East US.
I’ve never heard of Sheetz, but almost every gas station chain in New England now has a beer cave.
We have them in PA
100% a Sheetz. Gods know I’ve been in enough of them to recognize this anywhere.
Oh, my local convenience store used to have a thing like that back when I was a kid. I loved it.

I’ve been in one of these but it was for beer and I was freezing my ass off. I need to bring a hoodie when I go to that store.
They had something like this in our local convenience store, although the doors were wider. It was used for both beer and soda and it was quite nice in there in the summer.
Now the store is closed because convenience stores are no longer viable (nobody smokes anymore, magazines and newspapers are digital, supermarkets are open almost all the time) and then ones that survive only do so by being makeshift post offices with some candy bars at the counter.
Funny how in Poland convenience stores thrive mainly due to the govt banning Sunday shopping (and also them being owned mostly by a very exploitative franchise and them snuffing out local shops and them being fucking everywhere to the point that you can often stand by one and see another one from there)
