While the move could’ve been an attempt by Republicans to attack Piker, it has nevertheless reignited certain allegations about the GOP,

especially since the convention has once again coincided with the Grindr app crashing in Dallas from heavy usage.

    Reclaiming rich and sensual aesthetics from aristo-wannabes is something I strongly advocate for. Not by just doing fancy candelabra shit ourselves, but by applying our creativity to new styles and vibes for 21st century communists.

    Personally i try to create a RE save room/botanist’s loft vibe with my place and I like to wear those silky button up shirts that look fairly expensive but can be found for cheap online. I have also been learning sewing, specifically making hexagon/honeycomb quilted cloth, and I think that shit rules aesthetically. Luxurious like diamond quilt, but with only futuristic and no medieval connotations.

    This has been my modest pitch for sexing things up: new aesthetics, lots of plants, honeycomb quilt. And idk maybe shoulder holsters. And some communist raves wouldn’t hurt

      Okay, I love that idea. I have seen lots of people make the “beehives are very communal societies” connection, and it’s a good Hexbear inside joke that also has broader leftist meaning. Also, a commie bees thing is a fun contrast to the aging “Soviet Bear” and “Panda Power” bits. (Even if the bees aren’t as hug shaped as the bears are.)
