This is under playing how much time has gone by. Generally when growing up classic rock channels would play songs from about 15 years ago. Eg songs from 1975 would get on the channel in 1990, so hearing Bohemian rhapsody on classic rock back then would make sense. What this means is songs from 2010 should be on those classic rock or classic hits channels now
Yep, And the OLDIES stations played songs from the 50s, like Frankie Valli, Chuck Berry, Elvis. The songs from the 90s would now be the oldies!

Yeah exactly. In the 90s Chuck Berry was in his 60s. All the stars of the 90s are in their late 50s/early 60s now. The 90s are becoming the oldies.
