Macklemore is turning his removal from Ed Sheeran’s Loop Tour into a new run of his own, announcing a three-city “Free Palestine Tour” in Europe with additional artists and U.S. dates still to come.
The rapper announced the benefit tour Thursday, with concerts scheduled for Oct. 26 at 3Arena in Dublin, Oct. 29 at Accor Arena in Paris and Oct. 30 at OVO Arena Wembley in London. Ticketmaster is billing the shows as “Macklemore & Friends,” though participating artists have not yet been announced.
Macklemore said all proceeds from the concerts will benefit organizations “supporting the Palestinian people and movement.”

I’m not a rap guy but I downloaded a number of his songs after the raucous, Hind’s Hall is pretty good. The other songs are all right too.
If I could spare the resources I’d go, so awesome of him to help rather than condone.

I wondered as well. But in any case he came out against the biggest bullies in the world, so I think helping even if he’s cashing in while doing it.
Either way he’s being a very public and vocal supporter of Palestine. This is a good thing and we need more of it.
I have no idea, he comes off as pretty sincere but you never know.

Due to the layout of this headline on my phone screen, my first thought was, “Macklemore is gonna do free concerts in Palestine? Like, Gaza? Sounds dangerous.”
